‘Signal Blue’ Nike LeBron 15 Low Drops on June 30th

Nike is looking to expand the Nike LeBron 15 Low line up with a brand new Signal Blue colorway that’s scheduled to be released later this month.

It’s already the sixth colorway of this year’s low-tops and there’s not doubt the blue, grey and black Battleknit upper looks very appealing. I only wish Nike would experiment a little more on the midsole. All LeBron XV Lows have a white or almost white shade on that part of the shoe and I really feel there are more options that need to be explored.

Look for the Nike LeBron 15 Low ‘Signal Blue’ to release on June 30th at Nike Basketball retailers $150 USD.

First Look at Nike LeBron 15 ‘Fairfax Lions’ PE

With many other High School and College colorways of the Nike LeBron 15 profiled in full detail it’s finally time for the Fairfax Lions to join the party.

Fairfax High School in Los Angeles, Ca. is one of the oldest schools with the Nike LeBron sponsorship and this season they’ve been blessed with a special Player Edition of the LEBRON XV. It’s been a while since we’ve seen any Fairfax LeBrons. That doesn’t mean they don’t exist. It just means they are one of the hardest to track down.

The ‘Fairfax’ Nike LeBron 15 PE features a Red Battleknit upper with a Black-to-Red faded midsole and Yellow branding. For me it’s always been a toss up between Fairfax and some of LeBron James’ Miami Heat PEs and it definitely shows here too.

Release Reminder: Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier ’25 Straight’

Nike’s ongoing “Champions Think 16” collection will focus in on a classic LeBron James sneaker this week, as the “25 Straight” Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier 1 is finally set to drop tomorrow.

The “Retro Soldiers” are built on top of the Player Exclusive version he in Game 5 of the 2007 Eastern Conference Finals. Yes, that memorable double-overtime game, in which LeBron laced up the Zoom Soldier 1, he recorded 25 straight points on the road to lift Cleveland to a 109-107 victory. The Cavs would go on to finish off the Pistons in Game 6, marking LeBron’s first trip to the NBA Finals. It was a slightly different shoe than the General Release style that we got that year especially with the additional white panels underneath the straps.

The ’25 Straight’ Zoom Soldier features a white, tumbled leather upper accompanied by hits of navy throughout and gold detailing, including the additional details added for the ‘Art of a Champion’ releases i.e. the Larry O’Brien trophy hangtag.

Select Nike retailers and Nike SNKRS will launch the Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier 1 “25 Straight” ahead of Game 1 on Thursday, May 31st (10am ET / 7am PT) for the retail price of $150.

John Elliott x Nike Lab x King James Create the Nike LeBron Icon

Earlier this week John Elliott unveiled the Nike LeBron Icon, an all-new model based on the LeBron 8 tooling and a translucent and striped upper.

Today we get a closer look courtesy of Tim Day who is the Senior Product Line Manager for the Nike LeBron line showcasing the White and Black colorway. The all White version worn by John Elliott is expected to remain as a Friends & Family affair.

The White and Black colorway of the LeBron Icon QS, which was worn by King James as he arrived to the Quicken Loans Arena in Game Four, will be hitting retail in August for $250. Expect more colorways soon.

Spotted: Nike LeBron Soldier 12 (XII) ‘Agimat’

Almost exactly one year ago Nike released the ‘Agimat’ colorway of the Nike LeBron 14… a special nod for LeBron James’ fans in Philippines. Agimat is a Filipino word for “amulet” or “charm”.

Just a couple of days ago a similar make up applied onto the LeBron Soldier 12 has been spotted at one of Footlocker stores located in Las Vegas.

It’s very similar to the aforementioned LEBRON XIV with a deep navy base, gold branding, and even that special graphic lining on the inside.

Several stores already have them but keep your eyes peeled for a wider release. I’ll let you know.

Nike LeBron 15 Low ‘Taupe Grey & Team Red’ – Release Date

Things have been considerably slow within the LeBron James’ signature collection as of late. Sure there are new Soldier 12 styles available, but that’s not the shoe The King is using right now.

There’s also the low-top edition, which is supposed to keep us busy as far as new Nike LeBron 15 releases go. The brand new Taupe Grey, Vast Grey and Team Red colorway has finally surfaced and it is scheduled to be release on June 1st.

The shoe sports a Team Red Battleknit upper kind of similar to the one on the ‘Vino’ LeBron XV that launched in Asia couple months back. I know many people will be excited about a solid upper outsole, which is hard to come by these days.

Keep checking back for more news on all Nike LeBron kicks.

There are Four Different Nike LeBron 15 ‘Christ the King’ PEs!

If you thought 3 different OSU’s, 3 different Kentucky’s, 2 different Michigan’s, and so far only 2 different SVSM’s was a lot… enter the Christ the King collection of the Nike LeBron 15. The New York City based high school is still under sponsorship from LeBron James and still very hard to keep track of as far as their game shoes go.

Fortunately, courtesy of @mrnike212 we have a detailed look at all four (!) colorways of the Nike LeBron XV. There are two Home pairs, both with a white upper and faded midsole but in different configurations, maroon-to-white and gold-to-maroon. There are also two Away colorways. The first one uses a solid Maroon upper and a white-to-gold-to-maroon fade on the midsole while the second one has a two-tone Battleknit base and a maroon-to-gold fade. All four sit on a translucent outsole and have the school’s CTK logo on the side.

Obviously, none of those pairs are expected to hit the stores. They will remain as the players’ edition.

First Look at Nike LeBron XV ‘SVSM’ Home and Away PEs

While fans can enjoy the recently released SVSM Soldier 12s and look forward towards the SVSM Air Zoom Generation Retro let’s take a close look at one school’s exclusive styles.

Nike skipped the high school iteration with the 14’s and for a second it seemed that there are only collegiate colorways for the 15s. However, even though the season has ended the St. Vincent St. Mary players have recently received both Home and Away versions of the Nike LeBron 15.

The Home edition offers a plain White base, speckled midsole and Green tabs with a big IRISH logo on the side. The Away pair has a Green base with a faded midsole very similar to the Soldier 11 PE and again that big Irish logo on the lateral side.

Both colorways are expected to remain as Player Editions without a public release.

Nike Air Zoom Generation Retro “SVSM” – Release Date

2018 is the year of Saint Vincent Saint Mary… LeBron James’ alma mater. Not only we’ve got the SVSM Soldier 12s as a General Release, but also the upcoming Retro version of the Air Zoom Generation.

In the case of the AZG it’s more special because the OG version was never released to public and remained as a Player Exclusive item very popular among Nike LeBron collectors. Sadly I expect Nike to attach the Quickstrike tag to the SVSM AZG’s.

Below there’s a comparison between the OG and the Retro. Apart from the obvious difference… the peel off foil… the Retros seem to have a slightly different shade of Green. Not a big difference, but I’m sure owners of the OG’s will be pleased about not having a 1:1 copy releasing to public. I know I would If I owned a pair.

The Nike Air Zoom Generation Retro “SVSM” is scheduled to drop on May 26th, but that may still change per the QS nature of the drop. If previous retro AZGs are any indication here, expect a retail price of $175-200.

There’s a Third Version of the Nike LeBron 15 ‘Ohio State’ PE in Grey

The Ohio State colorways have always been special. Now with the lack of a White/Red or a Black/Red General Release version of the LEBRON XV all I think is that we’re missing out big time on what’s becoming one of the most memorable Nike LeBron silhouettes.

I have recently previewed the OSU Home edition and there are two different versions of Red Aways, but the third option is all about the Buckeyes’ Scarlet and Gray theme. It’s a simple predominantly Gray loko, but the simple details like the two-tone laces, red heel and of course the “O” logo on the hell tab make all the difference in the world.
